Its been almost one year since the release of this game for iOS and Android and still Pokemon Go is continuing its strict policy against cheater. Gamer who used a third-party application before got time bans, which disappeared after some hours or days. Caught user of tracking apps were not able to find rare Pokemon. There were lots of bans, also among gamer who never cheated before, which caused lots of confusion and tension in the Pokemon Go community. However, this was not really a problem for the cheater. Now Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, are getting even stricter.

On Reddit a verified account of a Niantic developer called “NianticGeorge” posted this:

“Starting today, Pokémon caught using third-party services that circumvent normal gameplay will appear marked with a slash in the inventory and may not behave as expected. We are humbled by the excitement for all the new features we announced yesterday. This is one small part of our continued commitment to maintaining the integrity of our community and delivering an amazing Pokémon GO experience.”

Every user of tracking apps will soon experience what he means by “will not behave as expected”. He might mean the Pokemon won’t fight in a normal way. Lets stay tuned on what this really means.

Since the release of Pokemon Go in July 2016 people started to cheat on this game. It didn’t really pass lots of time since some cheater came up with a solution to catch Pokemon while staying at home. Modified versions of Pokemon Go can be found all over the Internet since then. Cheater are using tracking and GPS apps for teleporting to different locations to catch Pokemon there. This destroys the real meaning of the game: To leave the house, go out with friends and to spend a nice time together catching Pokemon.
